Being originally from Louisiana/Texas and currently living in Finland, she considers herself an Ameri-Finn. Before becoming an entrepreneur she was a math teacher and cross-country coach for 6 years in Houston, TX at The Kinkaid School. She has spent a lifetime doing fundraising for organizations and has perfected the art of "creating opportunities." During her work on TeamUp she co-authored a now granted US patent on "fan ranking," which was about how to score a social profile based upon digital as well as real life activities as a sports or entertainment fan.
