Brian Smiga is a venture capital partner and founder of Alpha Venture Partners. He serves as an advisor to Pritzker Group Venture Capital, on the Board of Directors of the Roothbert Fund and is the Founder of BrandNewJ and TEDxAsburyPark.

Prior to becoming a general partner, Brian was a veteran of Silicon Valley and NYC information start-ups including: 1ClickCharge (sold to CMGi), 3Path (sold to Cadmus), and Preclick (sold to Smilebox). Brian co-authored five collaboration software patents and designed award-winning information managers: Actioneer, Dynodex, HP PhotoSmart Essential, and Preclick. Brian has licensed his software worldwide to Apple, AOL, Microsoft, HP, IBM, Sandisk, 3M, Costco, CVS, Walmart, Walgreens and others.
