Michael Henry joined Active Interest Media in January 2017 as Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer overseeing Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology.
Prior to joining AIM, Henry was the SVP and CFO for the Denver Post. He has over twenty-five years of finance and accounting experience coupled with process improvement and transforming traditional media models. He spent more than 16 years with Freedom Communications in several capacities including Interim President and Publisher, Chief Financial Officer, and General Manager. Henry continues to serve on the board of The Denver Post Community Foundation. Prior to his media experience, Henry spent five years in the banking industry working for The Resolution Trust Corporation, a U.S. government-owned asset management company. He has a bachelor’s degree in business from William Patterson University, a MBA from the University of Phoenix.
