Marjorie Clifton

Marjorie Clifton is principal of Clifton Consulting, LLC and has over 20 years of media, communications and strategic consulting experience.

As a consultant, Marjorie has built and run, national coalitions and campaigns to drive policy or organizational goals for corporations, non-profits and government agencies. In this capacity she has worked with organizations including: the Federal Reserve, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Business Software Association, Booz Allen Hamilton, Coca Cola, General Motors, Verizon, Boeing, EBay, American Red Cross, Harvard University and the American Heart Association. She also runs the Center for Safe Internet Pharmacies a coalition of global Internet companies including Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Facebook, Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, GoDaddy, Rightside, and UPS.

Marjorie’s passion is promoting organizational policies that promote women’s leadership and workforce diversity. As part of her consulting practice she has built and led training leadership and communications programs around the globe for organizations including: U.S. Department of State, USAID, Deloitte Consulting, Dyncorps International, Microsoft, the Women’s Media Center, American Association for University Women and Conservation International.

Marjorie is a published author, media personality and public speaker who regularly appears on CNN, Fox, NBC, MSNBC, PBS, and global television networks and radio. She is currently a fellow and advisory board member for the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Participation at the University of Texas and serves on the board for the School of Undergraduate Studies.

She is also an executive board member of the non-profit Running Start, and a founder of their Next Step program, which trains young women in career development and politics. She was awarded a female “Profile in Power” by the Austin Business Journal in 2015.1
