Host of DISRUPTIVE FM podcast (est. 2012), which covers trending topics at the intersection of tech, media, marketing and popular culture, Colon is the author of the 2016 book DISRUPTIVE MARKETING: What Growth Hackers, Data Punks, And Other Hybrid Thinkers Can Teach Us About Navigating the New Normal (HarperCollins) and creator and was host of Future Boutique, a monthly video show produced by Microsoft Advertising.1

Since 2013, Geoffrey Colon has formally been working with Microsoft and most recently is the Head of Microsoft Advertising Brand Studio. There, Colon designed the Bing chatbot and the first Microsoft voice skill that works cross platform (Amazon Alexa, Microsoft Cortana, Google Assistant). At the same time, in 2013, he was the Cannes Lions Gold Award recipient for best branded content for the IBM Research film “A Boy and His Atom: The World’s Smallest Film.” The breadth of his work includes engagement with IBM, UPS, Spotify, Netflix, Red Bull, Coca-Cola, Smirnoff, The Economist, Food Network, History, A&E, WWE, and American Express.
