Jen Grogono

Jen Grogono is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of uStudio. She leads company vision and strategy for a new generation of digital media technologies that transform the way businesses distribute and measure on-demand content, podcasts, and live streams to accelerate sales, radically improve productivity, and transform customer relationships.

In 2006, Jen Grogono co-founded one of the industry’s first multi-channel media networks, On Networks (ON), where she served as President and Chief Content Officer. Under her leadership, ON pioneered new forms of digital programming, any-screen publishing and distribution, media measurement, promotion and monetization. ON was acquired by Complex Media in November 2009.

Prior to On Networks, Ms. Grogono spent more than 15 years creating and implementing strategic technology, product and marketing programs across a range of consumer, B2B, and public service organizations.

Ms. Grogono served as vice president of corporate marketing for Motive Inc. (now Alcatel), where she handled pre- and post-IPO marketing, public relations and investor communications. She has also held GM and executive positions at Porter Novelli, an Omnicom worldwide firm; Kurion, a digital content and application syndication company (acquired by iSyndicate, now Yellowbrix); and Lois Paul & Partners, a FleishmanHillard company.

A cum laude graduate of Boston College, Jen Grogono holds a patent for technology related to digital media distribution and measurement and is a frequent speaker at events such as SXSW and NAB on the intersection of media and technology. Her early work in digital media has been recognized through industry awards and noted in business publications like the New York Times, Fortune, and Wall Street Journal. She contributed to Peachpit Press’s new media book, Web Video: Making it Great, Getting it Noticed.
