Dreamhack

DreamHack is a Swedish events and production company specializing in eSports tournaments and other gaming conventions.

It is recognized by the Guinness Book of Records and Twin Galaxies as being the world’s largest LAN party and computer festival with the world’s fastest Internet connection, and the most generated traffic. The Internet connection record was beaten in 2012 by the second largest computer festival in the world: The Gathering in Norway. Since 2015, it is part of digital entertainment company ][Modern Times Group. It usually holds its events in Western Europe and North America1.

DreamHack is focused on everything you can do with computers, Internet, digital entertainment, and culture: gaming, communication, programming, designing, and music composing. Events are typically organized large tournaments and an Expo featuring companies such as ASUS, Telia, Intel, and Blizzard.

eSport tournaments are arranged for all audiences, ranging from casual and fun to real hard core attracting professional players. All major genres like Team FPS, Duel FPS, Racing, Fighting, Sports, Music, and strategic games are featured. Most of the tournaments are open for everybody and often starts in the BYOC area then moves on to a tournament area. The final for the main games is played in front of thousand of people on the main stage or DreamArena Extreme.

During the festival we produce several of hundreds of live entertainment on our many stages. DreamArena offers the worlds best esport and lectures from game developers, politicians and other Internet or media personalities. The main stage offers live music, crazy competitions and also a lot of content from our partners. Most of the content is live streamed bys us or members of the media.
