Portland State Media Technology

Portland State Media Technology Department is responsible for taking care of the Portland State University student media groups’ technology needs and training students to thrive in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Offices are located at Smith Memorial Student Union in Portland, Oregon, and are as of 2019, led by Advisor Corrine Nightingale. The organization supports PSU media groups including KPSU.org, broadcasting non-commercial, student run, freeform radio since 1994, Pathos Literary Magazine, a creative publication by and for the students of Portland State, Portland State University’s monthly magazine, The Pacific Sentinel, tne student media organization focused on furthering video production education, PSU.tv, and the weekly student-run newspaper, Portland State Vanguard.
